Самарканд, Узбекистан

location: Samarkand's Registan Bazaar
rating:
3 stars
restaurant type:
street kiosk
perozhki variety:
potato
price:
economy
remarks:

Perozhki here were especailly tasty after the price of 200 Som (10 cents) had been pronounced. As Bazaar traffic in this quarter is particularly simmering and alimentary, kiosk venders must cater to the the demand of these peregrine and epicurean consumers. A mere traveler through the world of perozhki flavors, I was able to disembark, gently, at this hostelry of fluffy parboiled potatoes covered with a roof of grease-weathered dough and a tomato sauce made of only slightly bruised tomatoes, making the taste all the sweeter, as it fought with the grease on my palate and ultimately found purchase at the welcome mat of my taste buds.
